Live percussion that turns your DJ set into a proper performance.
I'm Wayne — a London percussionist with over 25 years behind the congas. I play live alongside your DJ or band, reading the room and lifting the floor at exactly the right moment. Ibiza-style energy, delivered for weddings, corporate events and private parties.

What I do
One musician. A completely different night.
A DJ gives you the music. Live percussion gives your guests something to watch — the moment a room stops looking at their phones and starts looking at the dancefloor.
Weddings
Drinks reception, wedding breakfast or the dancefloor after the first dance. I work with your DJ or band — no extra sound needed, no complications for your planner.
- Ceremony & drinks reception
- Evening dancefloor with your DJ
- Full-day packages available
Corporate & Brand
Summer parties, awards nights, product launches and brand activations. Reliable, well-presented, insured, and used to working to a run sheet and an AV team.
- Company parties & awards
- Launches & brand activations
- Conference & gala entertainment
Private & Destination
Milestone birthdays, day parties, boat parties, villa events and destination weddings. If it needs to feel like Ibiza, this is exactly what I do.
- Birthdays & day parties
- Boat & pool parties
- Destination events worldwide
How it works
Simple to book. Nothing for you to organise.
I perform in sets rather than continuously — it keeps the energy high and gives your night three or four genuine peak moments instead of one long background wash.
All sets are delivered within an agreed 3–4 hour event window. I bring my own instruments and work with whatever sound your DJ, band or venue already has — in most rooms I need nothing more than a mic or a DI and somewhere to stand.
On the night
In the room, not on a stage.

About
25 years of reading a dancefloor.
I've spent more than two decades playing live percussion over house music — from the terraces of Pacha and Privilege in Ibiza and pre-parties at Café del Mar, to Glastonbury, Ministry of Sound, the Jazz Café and Egg in London.
Along the way I've played alongside Masters At Work, Erick Morillo, John Digweed, Norman Jay MBE, Barbara Tucker, Paul "Trouble" Anderson and Josh Milan, and held it down on Déjà Vu FM, Flex FM and Ibiza Radio.
What that gives you isn't just technique. It's knowing when not to play — when to sit back and let the DJ breathe, and when to come in hard and take the roof off. That instinct is the difference between a percussionist making noise over a set and one genuinely lifting your night.
These days I bring that same energy to weddings, corporate events and private parties across London, the UK and abroad.

Questions
The things people ask before booking.
Do you work with our own DJ or band?
Yes — that's the normal way this works. I play live over whoever you've already booked. I'll happily speak to your DJ beforehand so we're on the same page about timings and the moments you want lifted. It makes them sound better too, which is why so many DJs ask me back.
What do you need from the venue?
Very little. I bring my own instruments. In most rooms I just need a bit of floor space near the DJ and either a microphone or a DI into the existing system. For larger rooms or outdoor events I'll talk it through with your sound engineer in advance.
How long do you play for?
I perform in sets — usually 2 × 45 minutes, 3 × 30 minutes, or a single 60-minute headline set, delivered across an agreed 3–4 hour window. Playing in sets is deliberate: it keeps the intensity up and gives your event several genuine peak moments rather than one continuous background layer.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the type of event, the date, the location and how long you need me for — a weekday drinks reception and a New Year's Eve wedding are very different bookings. Tell me your date and what you have in mind and I'll come back with a clear, all-in price. No hidden extras.
Do you travel outside London?
Yes. I'm London-based and cover the whole of the UK, with travel costs added for events outside the M25. I also take destination bookings — weddings, villa parties and events abroad — where flights and accommodation are arranged as part of the booking.
How far in advance should we book?
For a Saturday in peak wedding season, as early as you can — those dates go first. That said, I do take late bookings and last-minute enquiries, so it's always worth asking even if your date is close.
How do we confirm a booking?
Send me your date and details, I'll confirm I'm free and send a written quote. Once you're happy, a booking confirmation goes out setting out the sets, timings and fee, so everything is agreed in writing well before the day.
